RADtec specializes in Long Wave and Medium Wave heating technology utilizing contemporary design and simple operating features to provide effective and energy efficient comfort heating for outdoor and indoor spaces.

Radtec offers four styles to choose from the E Series, E Wifi Series, X Series and G Series. All Models will come with handheld remote controls and multiple power levels for comfort with multiple wattage rages to choose from. Step 1: Analyze Your Space

The first step you want to consider in selecting the proper model is to take into consideration where you will be mounting your heaters. Is the space indoors? Is it outdoors? If it’s outdoors, will the heater be protected from rain exposure? Each Radtec heater has an IPX rating the higher the IPX number, the higher the “waterproof” rating it has. Step 2: Determine Coverage Area

Once you have identified which model you like based on your installation location, now consider the heat coverage of each model. Long wave and medium wave heaters use infrared technology to heat people and objects, not the air. When looking at your space you need to determine if you want to heat the entire space or just a portion within the space. Also, you notice the heat coverage will change based on application type. For example, if you have a unit installed indoors protected on all sides, you will have a greater heat coverage compared to a unit that is completely exposed to the elements. See example chart below to help you determine how many units you will need to effectively heat your space.

IPX4: Is resistant to water splashes from any direction. We recommend these models be installed Indoors or outdoors under a protective cover free from direct rain exposure.
IPX5: Can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray. These units can be installed indoors and outdoors and can be exposed to the elements.
